Brighter than ever for 2014
In December, experience the third annual Rock’N Lights Holiday Light Tour featuring all new displays and a bigger and brighter Christmas Towne at the Old Settlers Association and Dell Diamond parking lot.
Rock’N Lights is a drive-through light show that features thousands of sparkling lights through Old Settlers Park from Dec. 1 to Dec. 30.
With 2 million lights, the 1.5-mile path is the must-see event of the season. The 2014 show features new displays and a longer light tunnel.
Rock’N Lights Hours
- Dec. 1-17: Sunday through Thursday 6 to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 6 to 10 p.m.
- Dec. 18-24: 6 to 10 p.m.
- Dec. 25-30: 6 to 9 p.m.

Christmas Towne features light displays, full-scale carnival rides, light maze, Kiddie Express Train Rides, petting zoo, holiday food, holiday entertainment and more.
- Christmas town is free and will be open the following days: Dec. 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.
- Opens at 6 p.m. to 15 minutes after the last car exits Rock’n Lights (likely around 10:15 p.m.)
Charter Bus Tours through Rock’N Lights available from Christmas Towne
New this year, visitors can charter a bus to go through Rock’N Lights from Christmas Towne.
- Charter Bus Tour: 7 to 10 p.m Friday, Dec. 12 | $5 per person, each tour. Two tours offered per hour.
- Austin Duck Adventures: 7 to 10 p.m. Dec. 18 – 20 | $5 per person, each tour. Two tours offered per hour.
Christmas Towne will feature the exciting Thomas Carnival, Inc. featuring full-scale carnival rides. for all ages! The carnival will be open each night of Christmas Towne from 5 to 11 p.m. contingent upon the weather.
Featured rides include Barnyard, Merry-Go-Round, Martian Maze, Crystal, Lil’s House of Mirrors, Pharaoh’s Fury, Super Shot, Tilt-a-Whirl & Fun Slide. Three carnival games and a food stand will also be featured in the carnival.

Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Round Rock Blue Santa or Toys for Tots, or a non-perishable food item for the Round Rock Serving Center on or before Dec. 18th.

Miracle on 34th Street Classic Radiocast
During your visit to Christmas Towne and Rock’N Lights, you may also want to check out Penfold Theatre’s production of A Miracle on 34TH Street Classic Radiocast taking place at the Old Settlers Hall at the Old Settlers Association, right next to Christmas Towne. The entrance to Rock’N Lights Holiday Light Tour is located at Old Settlers Park. Enter the park at Old Settlers Boulevard and Harrell Parkway. Participants will exit at Hwy. 79 into Christmas Towne. Entrance address (4111 E. Old Settlers Blvd.).
