Round Rock Reads! is an event where the community reads the same book and then discusses it and participates in special programs tied to the theme of the book.

The book selection for 2010 is Isaac's Storm: A Man, A Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History, by Erik Larson.  Non-fiction

• Jan. 8 - 10
  Barnes and Noble will host a bookfair and donate a percentage of sales to the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library this weekend if patrons present a voucher or tell the cashiers that their purchase is being made to help the Friends of the Library. Download voucher

  Storytime with Rocksssanne
• 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9
  Presentation by local author Mike Cox on Galveston 1900 and other Texas disasters at Barnes and Noble.
• 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18
  Isaac’s Storm book discussion at Barnes and Noble

  Screening of Isaac’s Storm film with special guest Troy Kimmel
• Entire month of January
  1900 Storm Photo Exhibit on loan from the Galveston County Historical Museum on display in the Art Gallery of the Round Rock Public Library
