Round Rock police officer arrested on criminal mischief charge
Last week Round Rock Police Internal Affairs received information from the wife of a Round Rock police officer complaining of family violence and threats from her husband.
The initial investigation conducted by Round Rock Police Department Internal Affairs resulted in Officer Roddy Adcock being relieved of duty with pay.
Adcock was arrested at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 1, by Round Rock police. He was placed in the Williamson County Jail for the charge of Criminal Mischief, a Class A Misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,500.
Adcock has been employed with the department for 13 years assigned to the Patrol Division.
Internal Affairs and criminal investigations are continuing.
