City set to celebrate July 4 with parade, fireworks, carnival rides
Remember: Fireworks are illegal inside City limits
A parade, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, children’s games, Sertoma Rubber Duck Races, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park and skydivers are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July 4th Frontier Days Celebration and Sertoma July 4th Parade.
It’s a day of fun with an annual parade, pony rides, inflatables, arts and crafts vendors, Ballet Folklorico dancers and a re-enactment of the historical Sam Bass Shootout, all leading up to the annual fireworks celebration and Movies in the Park!
The parade will take place on Main Street in downtown Round Rock. Other activities will take place at Old Settlers Park.
These events are free for the entire family.
Independence Day festivities will begin with free watermelon at the Lakeview Pavilion. Next, skydivers will fly into the festivities; then guests will enjoy music from the Austin Symphonic Band. The event also features a pepper eating contest, vendor booths, Sertoma rubber duck races and full-scale rides! See entire entertainment schedule.
Remember: Fireworks are illegal in the City limits, so we encourage everyone to enjoy the public display at Old Settlers Park.
