The Round Rock Police Department, along with other public safety agencies, will be conducting an emergency preparedness exercise on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Dell Diamond. The exercise includes scenarios involving special weapons and tactics teams, so residents near the ballpark could hear gunfire throughout the day on Saturday. Rest assured, this is just an exercise and no real bullets will be fired during the training.
