Skywarn Severe Weather Training set for Feb. 21
Presented by the National Weather Service

The Austin-San Antonio National Weather Service (NWS) Office provides Skywarn severe weather training throughout the year.

Skywarn training in Round Rock will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Baca Center Grand Ballroom on 301 Bagdad Street.

After training is complete, usually 1.5 hours for BASIC training, you will be an official weather spotter for NWS. The NWS will count on you to be "eyes" out in the field to verify severe weather across South Central Texas.

For more information, please contact Dorothy Miller, (512) 218-3259.
