Shred Day at Recycling Center
Safely dispose of documents
The Round Rock Recycling Center has contracted with Balcones Shred for a free Shred Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23.
The service is free but limited to 5 standard file boxes and 10 pieces of media per person.
All paper destroyed with Balcones Shred will be recycled. Media destruction will take place off-site.
Items that should be shredded include:
- Anything with a Social Security Number on it
- Financial records
- Legal documents
- Medical records
- Business correspondence
- Tax returns
- Invoices and receipts
- Hard drives, data CDs, backup tapes
