Downtown zoning open house
The Planning and Development Services Department invites you to a public open house to present proposed zoning changes in Downtown Round Rock from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5 at the McConico Building Community Room, 301 W. Bagdad Ave.
In 2010, after much public input, City Council approved the Downtown Master Plan to set a vision for the redevelopment of downtown Round Rock. The Plan contains recommendations on the type of uses that should be allowed and how new construction should look. City staff, with the help of a Working Group, has been drafting zoning districts with new development and design standards to implement many of the Plan’s recommendations.
Additional information about the proposed zoning districts can be found on the Downtown Zoning web page: www.roundrocktexas.gov/downtownzoning.
Please contact Joelle Jordan (218-5422, jjordan@roundrocktexas.gov) or Bradley Dushkin (671-2728, bdushkin@roundrocktexas.gov) at the City’s Planning and Development Services Department for more information.
