All camps are full
Registration is now closed; all camps are full
The Round Rock Police Department has had an overwhelming response to its first Junior Police Academy and all sessions are now full.
Thank you to everyone for their interest. Hopefully, the Academy can become a Round Rock tradition.
This summer, the Round Rock Police Department is launching the Junior Police Academy, an exciting new program for children ages 9 to 16.
These free weeklong camps teach kids about the basic functions of a working police department and the possibilities of a career in law enforcement. Modeled after an adult police academy, the camp will feature classes on criminal investigations, K-9 units, physical training, rappelling and more.
The program is open to residents of Round Rock or students who attend Round Rock ISD schools. Space is limited and applications will be processed in the order they are received.
