Halloween events

Here are some of the Halloween events happening in the Round Rock community.

Fall Fun Festival on Oct. 31
Join Round Rock Parks and Recreation at Old Settlers Park Lakeview Pavillion for the Fall Fun Festival from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The Fall Fun Festival is a fun and free event for toddlers and preschoolers with carnival games: Haystack hunting, cookie stacking, spider ring toss, and more. Bring your trick or treat bags and collect goodies.

Costumes are encouraged. This year's theme is Jungle.

Bring a canned food item for our local Round Rock serving center.


Library Halloween Parties
The Round Rock Public Library will host Halloween parties for children 2 & up at the days and times below.

Children and parents are encouraged to dress in costume. Please bring 30 treats, such as candies, pencils, toys, etc, and refreshments (fruit, cheese, cookies, chips, etc). The Library will provide drinks.

  • 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 25 and 26
  • 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29
  • 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31

Children must pre-register.

Note: At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, the Library will hold a special no food or candy Halloween party. Please do not bring refreshments or candy to this party. 
 
Baca Center Halloween luncheon on Oct. 31
The Allen R. Baca Center will host a Halloween luncheon for seniors from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31. Costumes are highly encouraged. Door prizes for the Scariest, Most Outrageous, Most Humorous, Most Creative, Best Overall.  Deadline to RSVP is Thursday, Oct. 25. Registered members of WBCO nutrition program who are 60 have a suggested $2 donation.  Non-members of WBCO will pay $6.
  
Howl-O-Ween Pet Festival at Animal Shelter on Oct. 26
Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is hosting the first ever Howl-O-Ween Pet Festival from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 26. The public can come participate in different contests including: owner-pet look alike, best pet costume, scariest pet costume and best trick contests. Lots of door prizes will be given out, too.

Other community events
Fall Pumpkin Fest  — Sky Ridge Plaza presents its Fall Pumpkin Fest from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

YMCA Halloween Party — The Round Rock YMCA will hold a Halloween party from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Old Settler's Pavilion in Old Settler's Park across from Dell Diamond.
