Animal Shelter pets of the week

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter presents the following featured pets for the week of April 14.

Domestic Shorthair mix

Lavendar is a 6 year old, 10 pound female. She is shy, sweet and friendly. She is fron declawed, so she needs to be an indoor only cat.





Retriever mix

Jeffrey is a 2 year old, 62 pound male. He is energetic and just finished 12 weeks of training at the Starmark Behavior Center.

Shelter hours

Regular shelter hours are:

  • Noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday 
  • 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 

The shelter is located at 1855 S.E. Inner Loop in Georgetown. To reach the shelter from IH-35, take Exit 259 and go east two miles. The shelter is located on the north side of the road just east of FM 1460. For more information, call (512) 943-3322.
