City Council meetings
All Council meetings are held at 221 E. Main St., in downtown Round Rock, on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., unless indicated otherwise. Council meetings are televised on cable channel 10 (or Channel 99 for AT&T Uverse subscribers). Council agendas are posted on this website at least 24 hours before a Council meeting. Meeting notices are also posted on the bulletin boards at City Hall 72 hours prior to meetings as required by law.
City Council membership
All Council Members are elected at large and serve the entire City, not a geographic precinct, for a three year term. The Mayor Pro-Tem is appointed annually by Council Members. City Council positions are not full-time jobs.
