Each year from October to March, the Round Rock Forestry Division organizes four to six tree plantings to beautify and reforest Round Rock area parks. The Forestry Division's two signature events are a Memorial Grove planting in conjunction with For The Love of Christi, and an Arbor Day Celebration in Old Settler's Park. In just five years, close to 1500 trees have been planted in area parks through community planting events.
