Are the City Council meetings televised?
Yes, they are televised live on Channel 10 on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. See Channel 10 page for replay schedule.
Are there any book clubs in Round Rock?
Round Rock New Neighbors Book Club meets on the third Monday of the month at the Barnes and Noble in La Frontera at 1:00 pm, 238-6433

Are there any RV parks or campgrounds in Round Rock?
The Old Settlers' RV Park is managed by the Old Settlers Association. Call 512-388-1733 for information. Other RV parks in the area include:

Can alcohol can be available at a special event or block party?
Yes, generally, but you have to follow the requirements of the appropriate agencies, such as the Texas Alcohol Beverage Control Board.
Can citizens ride out with police officer on patrol?
Yes, citizens can ride with police officers on patrol. Contact the Police Department.
Can I call the Municipal Court and find out how many warrants I have outstanding against me in the State of Texas?
The Municipal Court can only talk to you about the cases filed against you in Round Rock Municipal Court. To find out about other charges, you must contact the court of jurisdiction in each specific case. Many times contacting the Department of Public Safety for the names and phone numbers of the area Justice of the Peace may be helpful if a State Police officer issued you the citation.
Can I discharge fireworks in the city limits?
It is illegal to posses or discharge fireworks within the city limits of Round Rock.  We are not aware of any locations in the area that will allow you to safely discharge any fireworks.

The City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department presents a July 4 fireworks show as part of Frontier Days at Old Settlers Park. We encourage citizens to enjoy this professional fireworks show.
Can I file a report if I get bitten by a dog?
Yes. More than 4.5 million people, mostly children, are bitten by dogs each year. If you’re bitten by any animal, report it to Animal Control immediately by calling 218-5500.
Can I find out if I have a warrant for my arrest over the phone?
Yes. Contact Municipal Court at (512) 218-5480.
Can I get my blood pressure checked at the Fire Department?
Yes, you can have your blood pressure checked at any fire station from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Can I get my event/business listed on Channel 10?
Channel 10 is used  for government related events and information only.

Call Will Hampton, Communications Director, at 512-218-5409 or 512-218-5400 to find out if your event or business qualifies.
Can I renew my library books by phone or from home?
Library staff does not do any renewals by phone. If you have a computer at home and can access our library catalog, you can renew your books from home through our Online Catalog.
Can I use a library computer to type my resume? What software do the library computers have?
The Library has eight word processing computers with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Printshop, WordPerfect, Microsoft Works. They are all connected to a network printer. Prints are $0.10 a page.
Can non-citizens get a permit for an event or parade planned inside the city limits?
Non-residents are subject to the normal provisions of the City's ordinance and procedure.

Do I need to be a Round Rock resident to use City services?
Many properties with Round Rock postal addresses are actually outside the city limits. Residents of these areas may not be eligible for some city services (brush recycling and mulch), or may be required to pay an additional fee (library and recreation facilities), because they are not paying property taxes to the city for these services.

If you are not sure whether you live inside or outside the city limits, look up your address on Round Rock City View, check your property tax bill to see if you are paying city property taxes, or call the Planning Department (512-218-5428).
Do I need to post my building permit?
Yes.
Do you have a list of Home Owners Associations in Round Rock?
Home Owners Associations are not required to register with the City. However, Jill Goodman at 218-5403 maintains a list of HOA’s that have provided their information voluntarily.
Does Round Rock have a curfew for minors?
Yes, Round Rock has a daytime and nighttime curfew for minors under 17. The daytime curfew is from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on weekdays when school is in session. The evening curfew is from midnight to 6 a.m. Monday – Friday, and 1 to 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Williamson County has a curfew from midnight to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 1 to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
