How do I get a library card?

You can get a library card at a public service desk. Nonresidents can obtain a single card membership at $25 for one year, or at $7 for three months, and at $40 for family card memberships.

To verify your current address, you need a current Texas drivers license or a utility bill, etc.

How much are overdue fines?

Overdue fines are $0.20 per day, up to an $8.00 maximum per item.

Fines are charged on holidays as well as on the days we are open. There are two book drops available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week behind the library and are accessible off Liberty Street.

Lost or damaged item fines are the replacement cost of the item + additional fees for non-book items.
