Where can I find the City building code?
The City building code is available online in PDF in the City Ordinances. However, the online version is provided as a convenience and is updated only twice a year. For the most up-to-date version, the Library and the City secretary have printed copies for the public to review.
The Library also owns National Building Codes Handbook (R 343.73078 HUT).
Where can I get my Vehicle Registration renewed in Round Rock?

Where can I obtain a letter stating I do not have a criminal record within the City of Round Rock?
You may obtain a clearance letter stating you have not been arrested by the Round Rock Police Department. Please go to main lobby and bring your driver’s license with you, the fee is $3 and this letter can be notarized.

Where can I pick up a blank copy of an Individual Accident Report?
The County Clerk for Williamson County keeps records of births and deaths for the county. To get a certified copy of a birth or death certificate, please visit the Williamson County Justice Center at 405 MLK in Georgetown.
Where do I call to find out more about CPR classes?
The City of Round Rock does not currently offer CPR classes for the general public. Contact Matt Whisenant, the Williamson County Assistant CPR Coordinator at (512) 934-3736 or e-mail him for more information about cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Where do I get a marriage license, birth/death certificate, or record of divorce?
Contact the Williamson County Clerk at 943-1515 for marriage licenses, birth or death certificates and records of divorce.
Where do I get a pet license?
You can get a pet license from your veterinarian or contact the Police Department.

Where do I return library materials if the library is closed?
There are two drive through drops on the west side of the Library. One is for books and one is for audio-visual/puppets.
Where do you get a permit for door-to-door sales?
Solicitation Permits for door-to-door sales are required if personal contact with the residents is to be made.
Where does the City of Round Rock advertise their bids?
We are required by law to advertise two times within a two week period in the local newspaper, which is the Round Rock Leader. For greater coverage, we may also advertise in the Austin American Statesman. Bid notices are normally advertised in the Saturday newspaper.

Where is the Building Inspection Division located?
Building Inspection is located at 2008 Enterprise Dr. If traveling North on Mays, turn Right on Texas Avenue. The second street to the left is Enterprise Dr. We are located in the Public Works Building. Once you enter the building, the Building Inspection Division is the window to your right.
