Where can I find a Notary Public?
Round Rock Municipal Court offers Notary Public services from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday for $6. Also check with your bank or credit union.

Free small business counseling is available from the Small Business Development Center at Texas State University, San Marcos. Individual counseling in Round Rock is scheduled through the Community Development Office, 512-341-3328.

Where can I find the City building code?
The City building code is available online in PDF in the City Ordinances. However, the online version is provided as a convenience and is updated only twice a year. For the most up-to-date version, the Library and the City Clerk have printed copies for the public to review.

The Library also owns National Building Codes Handbook (R 343.73078 HUT).

Renew your vehicle registration at the Williamson County Annex located at 1801 E Old Settlers Blvd Ste 115. Round Rock. TX 78664. The number is 244-8644.
Where can I obtain a letter stating I do not have a criminal record within the City of Round Rock?
You may obtain a clearance letter stating you have not been arrested by the Round Rock Police Department.  Please go to main lobby and bring your driver’s license with you, the fee is $3 and this letter can be notarized.

Where can I pick up a blank copy of an Individual Accident Report?
A Driver's Crash Report or CR-2 (blue form) can be obtained from any police department or from the Texas Department of Transportation's website.
Where can I request a birth or death certificate?
The County Clerk for Williamson County keeps records of births and deaths for the county. To get a certified copy of a birth or death certificate, please visit the Williamson County Justice Center at 405 MLK in Georgetown. 
Where do I call to find out more about CPR classes?

The City of Round Rock does not currently offer CPR classes for the general public.  Contact Matt Whisenant, the Williamson County Assistant CPR Coordinator at (512) 934-3736 or e-mail him for more information about cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

 

Where do I get a marriage license, birth/death certificate, or record of divorce?

Contact the Williamson County Clerk at 943-1515 for marriage licenses, birth or death certificates and records of divorce.

Where do I get a pet license?
You can get a pet license from your veterinarian or contact the Police Department.
Where do I get a sign permit?
Realtors may get sign permits from the Administration Department at City Hall. For any other sign permit, contact the Planning Department.

Contact the Williamson County Elections Department at 943-1630.
Where do I return library materials if the library is closed?
There are two drive through drops on the west side of the Library. One is for books and one is for audio-visual/puppets.
Where do you get a permit for door-to-door sales?
Solicitation Permits for door-to-door sales are required if personal contact with the residents is to be made.
Where does the City of Round Rock advertise their bids?
We are required by law to advertise two times within a two week period in the local newspaper, which is the Round Rock Leader. For greater coverage, we may also advertise in the Austin American Statesman. Bid notices are normally advertised in the Saturday newspaper.
