Help your community!
Instructions | Opportunities

The Parks and Recreation Department appreciates your interest in volunteering for your community. The success of many of our programs and events is thanks to the efforts of our volunteers.
We have activities ideal for school groups, scout troops, service groups and individuals of all ages. We hope you'll sign up to lend a hand to the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation! We know you're in a hurry to help, but we request a minimum of 2 weeks notice, so we can prepare and have all the needed supplies to accommodate you and make sure your volunteer experience is successful. It is important to review our instructions, so you know how to sign up to volunteer.
Then, review our list of volunteer opportunities. If you have an idea for a project that is not on our list, let us know. This volunteer project list is updated regularly. If you are interested in one, call us so we can reserve it for your group.
Opportunities vary from one-day activities to ongoing needs in the department. We ask that volunteer groups please log the amount of time spent volunteering so we can keep a record of the great help we get from the community! From planting trees to answering phones, to helping at our next special event, there are many ways to help Round Rock.
Groups will be listed on the Parks and Recreation Department’s website in recognition of their contribution.
Leo's - Round Rock Noon Lions Club and Round Rock High School students volunteered to plant a flower bed at Round Rock West Park.
