The 2010 Round Rock the Boat Regatta is Saturday, May 15, 2010. The pits will open at 9 am and the races will begin at 10 am. Start preparing now by taking a look at all of the boats from 2009. If rain occurs, the rain out date is May 16 with the same time schedule.

Old Settlers Park was full of spectators waiting to see who will float, sink or swim at the Round Rock the Boat Regatta held in conjunction with the July 4 Frontier Days Celebration. Contestants made boats out of cardboard and tape and rely on their inventions to keep them afloat as they travel across the lake at Old Settlers Park.

In 2008, we had 16 boats of all sizes and shapes launch into the lake to set sail. For 2009, rains prevented the fun but with 33 boats registered, the City of Round Rock rescheduled the event to be in conjunction with the July 4 Frontier Days Celebration and even with a reschedule more than 15 boats participated!
