Round Rock residents identified Downtown plaza parks as a number two priority in the Game Plan 2020 Parks Master Plan. 

The Municipal Office Complex Plaza Improvements project (development of the green space behind the McConico Building and next to the Baca Center known as the Municipal Office Complex Plaza) will provide for a sense of community and connectivity in downtown Round Rock while reflecting the importance of our history. Features for the some of the downtown plazas may include interactive water features, art in public places, landscape beautification and festival areas.

When completed, the plaza green spaces will provide a gateway into downtown Round Rock and will reflect the welcoming character of the Round Rock community.
