Come Camp with us in Old Settlers Park!
It is said that a family that plays together stays together. Is there a better way to create lasting memories than through camping, fishing or other similar activities? We don’t think so; however, fewer families are enjoying these activities, the outdoors, and each other.
The Outdoor Family Campout can help provide basic outdoor skills necessary for an enjoyable and successful outdoor experience. More importantly, it shows families how fun the outdoors can be. The campout will lead into National Hunting and Fishing Day.
Activities include rock climbing, lawn games, a reptile and wildlife demonstration, tent decorating contest and more! The campout will lead into National Hunting and Fishing Day.
Registration for the campout is required and each person attending must be registered. Children ages 2 and under are free and do not need to register. Registration fee includes two meals (hamburger/hot dog dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday), instructional how-to sessions, use of demonstration equipment and a t-shirt for each paid participant. *20390

It's a perfect opportunity to create a better public understanding of hunting and fishing and to create a better public awareness of the important role that hunters and anglers have played in conservation and improving our natural resources. This event is free to the public.
