On Saturday, March 23, the 2nd annual Spunky Shaylah 5K and 1K Inspiration walk honors Shaylah Dame and the Shaylah Dame Skatepark. | Download Flier

Shaylah was 12 years old when she was hit by two cars while crossing the street near Clay Madsen Recreation Center. The city named the sakte park the Shaylah Dame Skatepark behind the Recreation Center in her honor.

Celebrate Shaylah's passion for life and love by participating in the benefit-driven 1K Inspiration Walk, 5K Fun Run/Walk, or both! Feel free to show your spunk during the 5K - wear a spunky outfit, run with a team, show your spirit! This event is a fun run/walk and will not be a timed event. 

Pre-registration ends March 20.

For a small donation, decorate a flag to honor who inspires you and celebrate them during the 1K Inspiration Walk. Contact the Clay Madsen Recreation Center for more information at 512-218-3220.

The first 300 registrants will be guaranteed a Spunky Shaylah 5K/1K shirt.
