The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department offers the following events focusing on active participation for children and adults with various disabilities or limitations.

Trunk or treat
Join Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and Seton Medical Center Williamson Pediatric Rehab for this free trick-or-treating event. A family-centered event, it encourages active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. 

Trick or Treat from car to car, trunk to trunk. Costumes encouraged. Bring your trick or treat bags.

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Seton Medical Center Williamson

Seeking volunteers: If your business, family, organization or group of friends wants to provide a decorated trunk and hand out candy or prizes, please email MHemenes@roundrocktexas.gov for trunk application.  Volunteers must sign up in advance. Trunk registration ends Saturday, Oct. 4.

Special Needs Dances
Fun, themed dances for individuals with special needs include dress up contests and snakes. For ages 15 and older with special needs. Chaperone/caregiver free admission. Register in advance to have your name entered into our raffle drawings!

Winter Wonderland

Play for All Special Needs Egg Hunt
Seton Medical Center Williamson and Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department host the Play for All Abilities Park special needs Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 28.

Hunt for the eggs high and low; look for the golden eggs for special prizes! Special needs children and their siblings can participate in the hunt.

The event is free but pre-registration is encouraged.  Participants are limited, so sign up early to secure your space. Onsite registration will be allowed based on open spaces.  You may pick up your egg hunt wristband on March 26 & 27 at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center or on site the day of the event.

Please bring your registration confirmation to pick up your wristband. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your hunt time to ensure that you are able to attend your designated hunt time.

Hunting Schedule

  • 9 a.m.: Ages 5 and under with siblings of any age.
