The City of Round Rock Police Department is responsible for upholding laws established by the City of Round Rock and the State of Texas to maintain the health, safety and sanitation of our community.
Before doing any digging for construction or other reasons, check to make sure there are no buried utilities in the area.

The Dig-TESS Center is a Damage Prevention Service to help excavators everywhere in Texas notify the owners of buried facilities before digging. The service is 100% free to excavators by calling 1-800-DIG-TESS.
Texas Excavation Safety System, Inc. ("TESS") is a non-profit corporation formed by member companies to prevent damage to underground facilities. In operation since 1987, TESS covers the entire State of Texas. TESS members have facilities in all 254 Texas counties.

Wastewater Backups and Overflows
If you experience a wastewater/sewer backup or wastewater problems, please call (512) 218-5555. If calling after 5:00 p.m. follow the voice message and please leave a brief message with your name and telephone number. A City crew will contact you within 30 minutes to provide assistance.
For non-emergency issues, you may submit an online service request.
- If you have a water line break or low water pressure, please call (512) 218-5555. If calling after 5:00 p.m. follow the voice message and please leave a brief message with your name and telephone number. A City crew will contact you as soon as possible to provide assistance.
If you have a water line leak between your meter and your house, it will be, in most cases, your responsibility. However, you may request that a City crew come to your residence and evaluate the situation.
To file a complaint on a food service establishment in Round Rock or Williamson County, please contact the Williamson County & Cities Health District (WCCHD) at (512) 248-7617. Further information about the complaint process and food service inspections may be obtained by visiting the WCCHD's web site.
Schedule a Tour of the Recycling Center
Learn about what and how materials are recycled by visiting the City of Round Rock drop-off recycling center located at 310 Deepwood Drive.
- Recycling Center tours are offered for children ages 5 years (kindergarten) and up
- Group size is limited to 20 participants
- Tours are offered Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Tours must be scheduled in advance
