Illegal Dumping
The City of Round Rock Code Enforcement Division is responsible for upholding laws established by the City of Round Rock and the State of Texas to maintain the health, safety and sanitation of our community.

Common code violations include brush, filth and rubbish, home occupations, junked and abandoned vehicles, signs, swimming pools, tall grass and weeds and unsafe structures.

Before doing any digging for construction or other reasons, check to make sure there are no buried utilties in the area.

The Dig-TESS Center is a Damage Prevention Service to help excavators everywhere in Texas notify the owners of buried facilities before digging.  The service is 100% free to excavators by calling 1-800-DIG-TESS.

Texas Excavation Safety System, Inc. ("TESS") is a non-profit corporation formed by member companies to prevent damage to underground facilities.  In operation since 1987, TESS covers the entire State of Texas.  TESS members have facilities in all 254 Texas counties.

Wastewater Backups and Overflows
If you experience a wastewater/sewer backup or wastewater problems, please call 218-5555.  After 5:00 p.m. follow the voice message and please leave a brief message with your name and telephone number.  A City crew will contact you within 30 minutes to assist you.

For non-emergency issues, you may submit an online service request.

• If you have a water line break or low water pressure, please call 218-5555.  After 5:00p.m. follow the voice message and please leave a brief message with your name and telephone number.  A City crew will contact you as soon as possible to assist you.
• If you have a water line leak between your meter and your  house, it will be, in most cases, your responsibility.  However, you may request that a City crew come to your residence and evaluate the situation.
