The Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF), also known as the City Shop, provides general support to City Departments by performing repair and maintenance on the City's fleet of vehicles and small equipment.

Vehicle Maintenance Facility is comprised of four teams:

• The Heavy Truck & Equipment Team: 
  Repairs and maintains:
  • Fire Apparatus
  • Loaders
  • Dump trucks
  • Trailers
  • Vacuum trucks 
• The Light Truck & Passenger Car Team:
  Repairs and maintains:
  • All police units (marked & unmarked)
  • Service Utility Trucks
  • Utility Administrative Trucks
  • All Other City Vehicles 
• The Small Engine Team: 
  Repairs and maintains
  • All ride-on mowers
  • Push mowers
  • Ball field equipment
  • Trimmers
  • Blowers
• The Parts Inventory Team:
  Maintains and supplies all repair parts for all the above categories of vehicles and equipment.
