Universal Class is a new online continuing education service offering a growing catalog of over 540 courses. Real instructors guide the learning by utilizing engaging video-based lessons, a collaborative learning environment, and graded lesson tests. Certificates of achievement and Continuing Education Units are available for selected courses.

Women In Texas History
The womenintexashistory.org site was developed as a resource for students, teachers, researchers, and anyone else interested in exploring topics in Texas women’s history. The site features a history timeline that stretches from the Paleoindian Period to the year 2000; links to major research websites, archives, and institutions; biographies and bibliographies; and sample lesson plans.
The world's most comprehensive bibliography, WordCat provides information about the holdings of libraries that subscribe to this service. Over 179 million records, in over 400 languages, contain holdings information, subject headings, and often summaries of the items' contents.
Zinio provides unlimited, simultaneous use of digital magazines. Over 90 popular magazines are available on any internet-enabled device. The publications include the same material as in print, including advertisements. Plus some issues include bonus interactive elements.
To use Zinio, you will need to login twice: the first is to access the magazine titles for which the Library has paid a subscription; the second is for the Zinio website which must be used to actually view the titles. After finishing the login process and choosing titles on your browser, the selected magazines will be available when using an app.
