16th Annual Center and Member Birthday Celebration – August
Come help the Baca Center and our August birthday members celebrate with cake and ice cream in the Grand Meeting Room on August 26 from 12:45-1:30 pm. There will be entertainment and treats for everyone.
Fall Fashion Show–September
The Baca Center and our members had so much fun at our last Fashion Show that we will once again host a fashion show this fall on September 4 from 1-3 pm. Our models will be wearing the newest fall fashions from Coldwater Creek, Jos A Banks and Stein Mart.
Luau Celebration – September
Let’s celebrate the end of a long hot summer with a Luau that is sure to be a great time. Join us on September 11 in the Grand Meeting Room from 11:30 am-2:00 pm for food, entertainment from Inside Out Steelband and the Limbo. Wear your hula skirt, flip flops and beach hat. Best beach bum will win a special prize. You MUST sign up in advance with WBCO so they can ensure there is enough food for everyone. WBCO clients 60+ years—$2 requested donation and ALL others will be a $6 requested donation. The Baca Center will also be announcing our next Biggest Loser’s from the summer program.
Baca Boutique Sale
The Baca Boutique is having a sale Monday through Thursday, September 1-4 from 9 am to 4 pm. Enjoy 30-50% off on beanie babies, dolls, games, cookbooks, Red Hat items and much more. Some jewlery is not included in the sale. For more information call 512-218-5499
"Planning Ahead for all the Right Reasons"

Health Fair and Flu Shot Clinic
The fair for Baca Center members is Friday, October 2 from 9 am-noon. The fair includes health related informational booths and screenings. Flu shots will be available, courtesy of HEB, however the shots will not contain protection from the swine flu. All regular morning activities are canceled. For more information call 512-218-5499
