This project consist of channel improvements within both of the large channels in the South Creek Subdivision (Dry Branch and Dry Branch Tributary No. 1), improvements at Greenslopes and improvements at Gattis School Road. This project includes the construction of approximately 6,540 linear feet of Dry Branch tributary to correct problems of bed scour and bank stability, as well as to address concerns of public safety associated with flooding.
The Dry Branch project will impact 2.24 acres of waters of the United States and as a result, the City is working to secure a permit from the Corps of Engineers having jurisdiction over the project.
