The White Collar Crimes Unit includes one sergeant and a group of detectives who are dedicated to investigating “high tech” crimes. The team’s members are trained in state-of-the-art investigative techniques and are experts in hardware/software analysis and computer forensics.

The Unit investigates the following:

• embezzlement
• forgery & fraud
• scams
• identity theft
• online credit card abuse
• computer fraud, computer hacking and internet fraud
• video forensics and other “white collar” crimes
• child pornography

The Unit is comprised of one sergeant and four detectives.
