The City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department presents the first annual Youth Fishing Derby from 7 a.m. to  10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, in Old Settlers Park. The event is free but please register.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There will be three age divisions in this catch and release derby:

• Perch Division (ages 3-5)
• Snapper Division (ages 6-9)
• Redfish Division (ages 10-12)

Please bring your own fishing equipment.

Prizes Catagories (for each division)

• Total Weight of Fish Caught
• Number of Fish Caught
• Largest Bass Caught

Event Schedule

• 7 - 7:45 a.m.: Check In/Registration
• 7:45 a.m.: Derby Rules
• 8 - 10 a.m.: Derby Fishing
• 10 a.m.: Award Ceremony and Snacks
