Round Rock residents are invited to participate in National Dance Day at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at the Prete Main Street Plaza.

Grab your pom-poms, don your pig tails and bring your “Go Team” attitude. The City of Round Rock and Round Rock Arts Council is cheering for National Dance Day with a filmed group dance opportunity.

Guys and girls should arrive at 9 a.m. to learn the National Dance Day routine from Sherry “Shamrock” Leetham. Or you can learn the Everybody Dance routine online from the dizzyfeetfoundation.com.

At 10 a.m. everyone will perform the routines together while being filmed. The film will be uploaded to the Dizzy Feet Foundation. All footage has the opportunity of being aired on the television show “So You Think You Can Dance.”
