The Round Rock Public Library is pleased to present the work of Janet Carruth McGuffin in its gallery during the month of October. Meet McGuffin at a reception from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.
Originally from Brooklyn, Janet spent time in the forest and along riverbeds, and her ceramic work reflects sealife, flowers, birds, frogs, snakes, plants, rocks, turtles, and lizards. With a Master's in art from the Pratt Institute and a budding poet, Janet will touch a deep chord with attendees. There is no charge for the event.
Her works will be on display at the Library from Oct. 1 through Nov. 1.
