Project Linus will hold a blanket making meeting from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the McConico Building, 301 W. Bagdad, for those who wish to help needy children in our community.

If you can sew, crochet, knit, or just tie knots in fleece, your help is needed. Project Linus also needs people who can sew labels on the blankets and put finished blankets into bags for distribution.

We've given over 2,500 blankets to the Red Cross for Katrina victims, and many more to local children in need. Help us meet the need now!
