The Round Rock Public Library presents the art of Nancy J. Weaver in the first floor gallery during the month of December. There will be a meet and greet with the artist in the gallery from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
A native of Central Texas, Weaver grew up in Austin. After a twelve year immersion in the multicultural arts of Northern New Mexico, she returned to Texas six years ago, taking up residence in an old Round Rock neighborhood. Weaver's art includes photography, fiber art (quilts, etc.) and collage/painting/mixed media.
The art exhibit will include newer encaustic (wax) collage works that incorporate fabric, yarn, beads, and found objects.
