The Round Rock Public Library sponsors an Adult Book Club to discuss popular titles and staff favorites. Book discussions are held at various times throughout the year. Each month the group will discuss a work of fiction or non-fiction.
Blindness: A Novel is the story of an unexplained mass epidemic of white blindness afflicting nearly everyone in an unnamed city, and the social breakdown that swiftly follows. The book made it to the New York Times Bestseller list and Saramago won the Nobel prize in Literature in 1998.
Copies of the book are available for check out at the library or for purchase from your favorite local bookstore. The book club is free and open to the public. You do not need to be a member of the Library to participate.
