The BBB Education Foundation presents Shred Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m Saturday, May 22 at the Dell campus in Round Rock.
The general public can bring boxes of documents to be shredded and take home the tips and resources they need to help protect themselves.
Free consultations
The Money Bus will offer free one-on-one consultations with an independent financial advisor (make an appointment on their web site). You can ask about budgeting, saving, reducing debt, investing and more. The planners will have approximately 15 to 20 minutes to meet with each attendee. Participants will receive a complimentary toolkit with articles, workbooks and interactive tools to help you plan for your future!
Donate computer parts
Goodwill will be accepting computer (working or non-working) donations at the Round Rock Shred Day site. Donations may include external computer parts including monitors, keyboards and mouses. Please be sure to erase sensitive information from these items before donating as they will be collected at the event and handled off-site after the event, free of charge.
