Author Fred Burton will be the special guest and speaker for the May meeting of the Round Rock New Neighbors Book Discussion Group at 1 p.m. Monday, May 17 at Barnes & Noble at La Frontera.
The public is invited to this free event, co-sponsored by Barnes & Noble and Round Rock Public Library.
Burton, who will discuss his book: Ghost: Confessions of a Counterterrorism Agent, will also answer questions.
Frank Campbell, public relations manager for Barnes & Noble Round Rock, notes that Burton is “a key figure in international counterterrorism and domestic spycraft” and that the author has for a number of years been associated with Stratfor, a private firm that Barron’s calls “the shadow CIA.”
