Seton Family of Hospitals is partnering with the Austin Young Lawyers Association to provide information regarding the importance of two advance directives available in Texas: Medical Power of Attorney and Directive to Physicians, Family and Surrogates in a free seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 30 at Seton Administration Offices in the East Auditorium.
Content experts will discuss the importance of designating someone to speak for you when, because of illness or temporary disability, you are no longer able to speak for yourself. Seton associates, as well as local lawyers, will be present at the conclusion of the presentation to assist attendees, if they choose to do so, in the completion of these two types of advance directives.
Registration is required. Contact Charlotte Croft at 324-5714 or ccroft@seton.org. A light lunch will be provided.
