Austin Reptile Service presents the Annual Austin Amphibian and Reptile Expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 at Dell Diamond's United Heritage Center.

Cost is $8 per person or $12 for both days. Children under 5 with an adult are free. Scouts in uniform receive a dollar off admission.

The Expo features quality captive bred reptiles, amphibian and invertbrates as well as books, cages, tools, feed, face painting and arts and crafts. More than 60 vendors will be in attendance.

The Expo will also feature educational displays on Texas snakes and venomous snakes.

Raffles throughout the weekend will benefit the Austin Herpetological Society.
