The City of Round Rock Community Development Advisory Commission will host a pair of public hearings to gather input for our Community Development Block Grant program.
The first meeting, on "The Organizational Perspective," will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17. The second meeting, "The People’s Perspective," will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3. Both hearings will be at Round Rock City Hall, 221 E. Main St.
Everyone is invited to come listen, learn and share in the conversation. We'll discuss what needs should be addressed to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to thrive and experience the excellent quality of life Round Rock offers. Some of the issues to be considered include:
- Neighborhood revitalization
- Housing needs
- Public transportation services
- Social services (job training, after-school programs, health services, youth and senior services, utility assistance)
Translators will be available. The City of Round Rock is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
