The Williamson County Medical Reserve Corps (WilcoMRC) and the Sun City Emergency Management Committee will co-host this orientation presentation/meeting. It is open to anyone who may be interested in joining the WilcoMRC.

WilcoMRC organizes and utilizes volunteers who want to donate their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies and promote healthy living throughout the year. WilcoMRC volunteers receive free preparedness training focused primarily on learning local emergency and health procedures, trauma response techniques, use of specialized equipment, and other methods to enhance volunteer effectiveness. Trained volunteers will supplement existing emergency and public health resources and the responsibilities of volunteers will vary, depending on the nature of the needs in the community.
