Today's Book-to-Movie feature depicts how Ninny Threadgoode’s tales of friendship, family, murder, mystery, and barbecue in rural, Depression-era Alabama at the Whistle Stop Cafe inspire an unhappy housewife to take charge of her life. Clever drama based on the novel by Fannie Flagg.
