The Round Rock Public Library presents its Book-to-Movie series from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8.

Today's Book-to-Movie features a Cinderella-inspired story.

A young woman named Ella has been given the gift (curse?) of obedience by a fairy named Lucinda in this modern day Cinderella story.  She must obey any order that is given to her, a fact that she must keep from her new step-family until she finds a way to break the spell… and win the heart of Prince Charmont. Original novel by Gail Carson Levine is based on the story of Cinderella.
Rated PG. (95 min.)
