The Volunteer Center will host the 6th Annual Family Volunteer Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 19 at Bluebonnet Elementary.

Designed to showcase the benefits of families working together, National Family Volunteer Day is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year and kicks off National Family Week. 
 
Over 100 volunteers are being called for to assist with the following projects:

• Help beautify the school campus and organize the science lab
• Make a Jar of Hope for Cancer Connection
• Sew a pillow for Elderhaven Senior Day Care
• Make a Blanket Buddy for a local nonprofit agency
• Create a craft for homebound neighbors through Meals on Wheels
• And more
