About the show
Fall in love with this timeless story of hope all over again. It's Christmastime, 1946, and members of the KPNF radio station are coming together for a live radio performance of It’s a Wonderful Life. Step back in time as five actors bring the entire story to life right before your eyes. In this imaginative re-incarnation of a cherished holiday tradition, you’ll fall in love with George Bailey and his timeless tale of despair, redemption and hope all over again.
And while you're there, take in the ambiance of Friar Tuck's Pantry, with its hard wood floors and high tin ceilings. This cozy storefront nestled in the heart of downtown Round Rock dates back to the 1800s and is one of the original members of city's Main Street historic district.
Each show features a cameo performance by a special community guest, including RRISD Superintendent Dr. Chavez, local officials, business owners and more. You'll also want to check out the 9' Christmas tree, decorated by students from Copperfield Elementary School!
