Texas State presents the 27 Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Celebration beginning at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at the Round Rock Campus.

The evening will feature performances by TxState Student Gospel Group Christian Hammons and a re-enactment of the King's I Have a Dream speech. The performances will be in Avery Lobby from 1:15 to 6:15 p.m.

Dr. Dwight Watson, associate professor of history, will speak on "King, the Church, and Civil Rights" at 6:30 p.m. in the Avery Building, Room 252.
