The 1st Annual Spunky Shaylah 5K & 1K Inspiration Walk will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center.

This 1st annual event honors Shaylah Dame and the Shaylah Dame Skatepark.  Celebrate Shaylah’s passion for life and love by participating in the benefit driven 1K Memory Walk, 5K Fun Run/Walk or both.

Feel free to show your spunk during the 5K — run with a team, wear a spunky outfit —show your spirit! The first 300 5K registrations will be guaranteed a Spunky Shaylah 5K shirt.  Register online or in person at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center.

For a small donation, to celebrate the 1K Memory Walk, anyone who wishes to decorate a flag or poster in honor, in support or in memory of someone special is welcome. For more information, contact CMRC at 512 218-3220.
