The City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department presents the first annual Youth Fishing Derby from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in Old Settlers Park. The event is free but you must register.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

There will be two age divisions in this catch and release derby:

• Junior Division (ages 6-9)
• Senior Division (ages 10-12)

Prizes Catagories (for each division)

• Total Weight of Fish Caught
• Number of Fish Caught
• Largest Bass Caught

Event Schedule

• 8 - 8:45 a.m.: Check In/Registration
• 9 -9 :15 a.m.: Derby Rules
• 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Derby Fishing
• 12 - 1 p.m.: Award Ceremony and Snacks
