Preschool Storytime is pleased to share a program of songs and rhythms with our special guest Jennifer Savage from Music with Mar.
The program provides activities for adults and children to participate in together that aid in development. The program does not ‘teach’ music; but uses music to teach.
In a typical class, children and caregiversengage in educational and enjoyable music activities such as:
- singing songs,
- using rhythm sticks,
- interacting with puppets,
- pinching bubbles,
- parading with instruments,
- hearing a story,
- using sign language,
- and moving to the music.
Most Monday evenings, the Round Rock Public Library presents Storytime in Room A. This reading activity is a fun combination of books, fingerplays, songs, and a short film for preschool children ages 3 to 6.
Storytime is held at 7:00 on Mondays, 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays.
