Round Rock, Texas is home to the National “Drum Off TV” Champion Ed Francis. Come see Francis’s winning drum solo at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 at Prete Main Street Plaza.

His performance will present many of the drumming techniques used to win the Drum Off TV competition using only a three piece drum kit (high hat, snare drum and bass drum). Francis qualifies for the international “Thirty-Second” Drum Solo Competition being held in London, England where he will represent both Round Rock, Texas and The USA.

Teacher for over 22 years Francis has played the drums for over 35 years studied and performed in the Rhode Island Toreadors and the United States Air Force Drum & Bugle Corps, is a member of the National Professional Drum Teachers Guild, and Drum Off Champion for Austin.
