The Round Rock Public Library presents the Cash for College program from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. every Thursday and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. every Sunday during tax season. This free program from Foundation Communities offers help with Financial Aid for college.
If you’re a senior in high school, college is surely on your mind: what college should I go to? How many should I apply to? And of course…how will I pay for it?
The first place seniors in high school and current college students should start is with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to helping you fill out the FAFSA, the Cash for College program can help answer questions about college and financial aid and can provide scholarship resources and tips. Come on by for free help!
Not a senior in high school yet? That’s okay. The Cash for College program can help you start planning even if you’re in middle school or a freshman, sophomore or junior in high school. Get started and get an idea of what to expect and how to prepare. You can even do a “Forecaster," a sample FAFSA that will estimate how much federal aid you would be eligible for today if you were about to enter college.
Over 18? We can help! We love seeing adults going back to school! Whether you have questions about getting into college or how to get your GED, we can help you with financial aid and even offer additional resources for adult students returning to school.
Parents are welcome, too!
